Club House Roof Replacement and Court resurfacing

Dear Members

Club House Roof Replacement
The great news is that finally construction to replace the clubhouse roof starts this Monday 19th April  and estimated completion towards the end of June.
This means the club house, including the front and back parking  and courts 1 and 2 are out of bounds as a construction site for safety.
Members may gain access to the remaining courts from the  entrance on the rugby club side and utilize the parking inside the rugby grounds.
The clubhouse will also not be accessible on Saturdays or Sundays as well as during the week. Please utilize the rugby club facilities including toilets, bar and restaurant.
Due to the planned removal of the asbestos gutters on the 28th & 29th April the club will be out of bounds completely on those days which means no tennis on any of the courts on the 28th and 29th of April.
Although an inconvenience it is definitely worthwhile to endure for a new roof after waiting for so many years for council to replace, which we are very thankful to them for.

Court 6 and 9 Resurfacing and Court 7 cleaning
At the same time courts 6 and 9 will be under construction to remove the root damage and be resurfaced. All going well this should be completed by the end of April beginning May.
Court 7 will be cleaned and new lines painted this week.

Club AGM Postponement
The clubs constitution stipulates that the AGM must be held not later than the first week of June, however due to the clubhouse still under construction, this will have to be extended until the first week of July when we can all be under the new roof.

Stay safe and healthy to enjoy the new clubhouse and resurfaced courts.
